Kelsey Boyd, Jr. Heat 17u Girls - Head Coach

This is Kelsey’s first year with the Jr. Heat Volleyball Club’s coaching staff. From Regina, Saskatchewan, she grew up as a competitive multi-sport athlete – receiving city and provincial accolades in volleyball, basketball, and softball. In high school, she competed as an outside hitter for Sheldon Williams Collegiate and was a member of the Cougar Volleyball Club’s 17u and 18u teams in 2008 and 2009, respectively. Kelsey went on to compete with the Lee College Rebels in Baytown, Texas as both an outside hitter and middle blocker, receiving All Conference recognition as a team captain in her sophomore year. Kelsey completed her post-secondary career as a captain of the University of Mary Marauders women’s volleyball team in Bismarck, North Dakota as an outside hitter. Her love of the game and passion for working with athletes has helped her garner an Associates Degree in Education from Lee College, as well as a BEd from the University of Regina. In addition, she is currently an Advanced Development Coach in training with Volleyball Canada.
